<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication method and information processing apparatus whereby, if a network address of a terminal having at least one executing environment for executing a program described with an object-oriented language to be executed with a platform-independent machine language is e.g. suddenly changed during executing the program, this network address change is reflected on the executing environment to enable the communication with other terminals again later. SOLUTION: There are a plurality of terminals each having at least one executing environment for executing a program described with an object-oriented language to be executed with a platform-independent machine language. When a specified terminal among them detects the change of a network address of own apparatus, a new network address resulting from the change is provided so that the other terminals can reference it, thereby enabling the other terminals to access the specified terminal.</p> |
