METHOD FOR POZZOLAN DETERMINATION IN CEMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which the pozzolan content of a cement composition can be determined accurately through simple operation even when the composition contains siliceous pozzolan at a high mixing ratio. SOLUTION: In this method, the cement composition composed of cement and the siliceous pozzolan is dissolved in an acidic aqueous solution having a pH value of 1.3-2.7 and the pozzolan content is determined from the quantity of the undissoved residue.
