PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcasting receiver for continuously switching to a low hierarchical video by reflecting a viewer's will in a hierarchical transmission/reception. SOLUTION: The digital broadcasting receiver conducts an OSD display and user input capturing in response to a compared result of program information of a high hierarchy with program information of a low hierarchy, and switches to the low hierarchical video.
