PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technical method for safely performing a settlement using a credit card by the so-called electronic commerce. SOLUTION: This method comprises an information network such as an Internet link, a store server in the possession of a store connected to the information network and allowing usage of the credit card, a terminal device connected to the information network and used by a consumer, and a management server connected to the information network. Information of a settlement with the credit card by the consumer using the terminal device is uplinked from the store server to the management server. The settlement information is accumulated in the management server and the accumulated information is periodically transmitted to a computer device in the possession of a credit card issuing company. The computer device in the possession of the credit card issuing company is connected to the information network and the settlement information accumulated in the management server is transmitted via the information network. |
