PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control system provided with a wired remote controller fixedly installed that can easily operate the remote controller even from a site apart from the remote controller. SOLUTION: The remote control system is provided with a mobile auxiliary remote controller 6 that outputs an infrared ray signal representing an operation command of a remote controller 3 through the operation of operation switches 21a-21c and with infrared ray reception sections 5, 11 that receive the infrared ray signal. A circuit unit 13 built in the remote controller 3 is connected to the infrared ray reception sections 5, 11 and outputs command information in response to the operation command denoted by the infrared ray signal received by the infrared ray reception sections 5, 11 to a main body controller 1.
