PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadband line driver for improving nonlinearity and unsatisfactory frequency response of a transformer used therein. SOLUTION: The broadband line driver comprises a cascade connection of an operational amplifier A and the transformer T, which can be integrated on a chip. This is obtained by putting the transformer (T) in a feedback loop between an output and the input of the amplifier A.
