The degree of convergence astigmatism on each screen position corresponding to crossing points on cross hatch pattern screen, is measured. The convergence astigmatism at each screen position, is individually corrected in scanning order of electron beams based on correction data which is generated using measured convergence astigmatism degree. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) A digital dynamic convergence control system; (2) A digital dynamic convergence correction device; (3) A deflection yoke; and (4) A display device.
