PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use facsimile equipment in which a scanner function and a printer function are provided and a personal computer at low costs. SOLUTION: This computer system is provided with a personal computer 5 for prescribed data processing, facsimile equipment 4 in which a scanner function and a printer function are included, and a communication MODEM 3. The MODEM is equipped with a modulating/demodulating function and connected to the personal computer 5, and the facsimile equipment 4 for switching and executing an operation to transmit data read by the facsimile equipment 4 to the personal computer 5 and an operation to transmit data prepared by the personal computer 5 to the facsimile equipment 4. |
