PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a brightness-balanced image by compensating a brightness unbalance between an ODD screen and an EVEN screen in a wire bonder image processing apparatus using a progressive scan CCD camera. SOLUTION: This apparatus has a brightness unbalance detector 73 in which a brightness correlation regression line is calculated by sampling the brightness of two horizontal scanning lines of an ODD signal and an EVEN signal vertically adjacent to each other on a camera image, and from the condition of the brightness correlation regression line, a bias correction and a gain correction are searched to give the same brightness characteristics to the ODD signal and the EVEN signal, an ODD signal brightness correction circuit 71A in which a bias level and a gain for the ODD signal are variably controlled according to a bias correction and a gain correction for the ODD signal sent from the brightness unbalance detector 73, and an EVEN signal brightness correction circuit 71B in which a bias level and a gain for the EVEN signal are variably controlled according to a bias correction and a gain correction for the ENEN signal sent from the brightness unbalance detector 73. |
