PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device using a liquid developer capable of improving development efficiency by uniformly applying the liquid developer. SOLUTION: This image forming device using the liquid developer is equipped with a flexible developer support which supplies the liquid developer of high viscosity to a latent image surface of an image support, and a liquid developing device having a coating roller which coats the developer support with the liquid developer, a supply means which supplies the liquid developer to the coating roller, and a cleaning means which removing the liquid developer on the developer support. Further, the image forming device has a coating amount restricting mechanism which applies the liquid developer while restricting the coating amount by making a doctor blade abut and is equipped with a control mechanism which controls the amount of the liquid developer applied onto the developer support. |
