<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide facsimile equipment for IP network communication, capable of communicating by simultaneously using plural transmitting and receiving means such as a telephone set and FAX equipment. SOLUTION: In FAX equipment 10, one or more communication connections to the opposite device are simultaneously set for each transmitting and receiving means such as a telephone set 60 and an FAX 59 by an IP network interface part 12. The transmitting and receiving means 59 or 60 to which a packet transferred from the opposite device through any communication connection belongs is discriminated by a packet discriminating part 18, and the discriminated packet is decoded by a voice packet processing part 34 or an IFP packet processing part 36, and outputted to the corresponding transmitting and receiving means. On the contrary, data inputted by the transmitting and receiving means 59 and 60 are encoded and integrated into a packet by the voice packet processing part 34 or the IFP packet processing part 36, and transmitted through each connection to the opposite device.</p> |
