PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of saving a maintenance work for regenerating a deodorizing element. SOLUTION: The deodorizing element 14 having a photocatalyst layer for exciting an odor component to be decomposed by irradiating it with light is provided on a ventilation path in a main body easing 1. In the main body easing 1, a light transmission part 15 is provided, through which the deodorizing element 14 can be irradiated with external light. Then, the deodorizing element 14 is regenerated by the light applied from the light transmission part 15.
