PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable settlement terminal equipment, which makes other persons difficult to know a password number or the like by making the motion of fingers hard to be seen by the other persons when inputting the password number or the like from a keyboard. SOLUTION: The equipment has a configuration provided with an operating part 5 for inputting data and a freely foldable shade part 9 attached to a cover 11 for covering a main body 1 of equipment through a rotary shaft part 10 so as to cover the tips of fingers operating the operating part 5. Thus, when inputting a password number from the keyboard, the motion of fingers is made hard to be seen by the other persons and it is difficult for the other persons to know the password number.
