PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a close-up lens adapter and a camera system including a suitable lighting device for proximity photographing without enlarging a camera main body being a object to be attached and the close-up lens adapter itself. SOLUTION: The close-up lens adapter is capable of connecting to and disconnecting from the front of a lens barrel 110 having an imaging lens (primary lens) 111. The close-up lens adapter 10 for camera 100 includes a conversion lens (secondary lens) 11 reducing the shortest range where the photograph can be taken by attaching it, lighting means (flash sections 15a-15d) that are integrated with the adapter 10, disposed in the periphery of the secondary lens 11 and illuminate a subject, and a power transmitting means (cord 18 that combines the power transmitting means and a trigger means) in order to transmit the power from a power source in the side of the main body of a camera 100 to the lighting means.
