SOLUTION: A material supplying device supplying a glass bead 5 as a material to a glass melting furnace, in which glassification of high-level radioactive waste liquid is carried out, is provided with the storage hopper 18 receiving the glass beads 5 pneumatically conveyed from a glass bead receiving tank via a conveying tube 11, storing them, and properly feeding the glass beads 5 to the glass melting furnace. In the storage hopper 18, a pit 33 connecting the conveying tube 11 at the upper end, extending downward inside the storage hopper 18, and storing a required amount of the glass beads 5 in the lower end is formed, and just above the pit 33, a receiving nozzle 32 opening an opening part 34 laterally and an air outlet 36 discharging conveying air 12 introduced via the conveying tube 11 from the upper part of the storage hopper 18 are arranged.
