PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To omit the flange back adjusting operation of a camera and a lens associated with the attachment/detachment of a filter by providing a filter attaching mechanism with a distance adjusting member (spacer member) to make a distance between a flange surface and the final refractive surface of the lens longer by a distance as long as the change of back focus which gets longer because of the attachment of the filter. SOLUTION: In the case of using the camera 10 having sensitivity to both of a visible area and a near infrared area in the visible area, a tightening ring 46 is screwed and inserted in the screw part 50 of a fixed lens barrel 40 so as to attach the filter 30 to the rear part of the lens after a mount ring 44 is superposed on a filter frame 60 holding an IR cut filter 30. By inserting the filter 30, a distance (back focus) from the top of the final refractive surface 22A of the lens 22 to an image-formation surface S(VR) gets longer but the distance from the flange surface 28 to the image-formation surface is adjusted by moving the lens 22 forward by the leg part 62 of the frame 60 by the shift amount (k).
