PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fitting shaft correcting mechanism of a probe having a large fitting shaft correction quantity, causing few fitting failures and reducing falling-ins of a probe body and, to provide a device which uses this mechanism. SOLUTION: This probe 1A is composed of the probe body 3, having a connecting part 2 with a mating receptacle, a ring-shaped probe fixing member 5 for installing and fixing this probe 1A on the apparatus body side, a probe sliding member 6 for always holding the axial direction of the probe body 3 in the axial direction of the probe fixing member 5 and freely moving the probe body 3 in the direction for running in the radial direction of the probe fixing member 5, and in the axial direction of the probe fixing member 5 and a coil spring 7 for absorbing fluctuations in a connecting position with the mating receptacle.
