PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability and reduce costs by performing the energization control of a level sensor used for detecting the presence or absence of the kerosene of an air conditioner having a kerosene refrigerant-heating device. SOLUTION: The level sensor is energized only in heating operation, thus securing the same reliability as before as the air conditioner with the low-cost level sensor having nearly half the life time as compared with before.
