PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which suppresses heat generation while reducing noise. SOLUTION: A scanner motor 5b is surrounded with a scanner unit 5 and a hold part 5a, the space 20 around the scanner unit 5 is covered double and completely surrounded, and the periphery including the exterior of the device is surrounded triple in the rotating direction (laterally) of the scanner motor 5b, so noise generated by the scanner unit 5 is prevented from leaking and reducible. For the heat of the hold part 5a, on the other hand, a fan 6 cools the hold part 5a exposed to a space 30 provided separately from the scanner unit 5 across a main frame 1 through an air passage. |
