摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a servo driving device capable of detecting an abnormality in it without providing an abnormality detector independently of an abnormality detector to be used for position control originally. SOLUTION: In the servo driving device for performing position control, an initial torque value in a stop state is detected and stored (step S3), the absolute value of a different between a present torque value and the stored initial torque value is compared with a prescribed value (step S4) and when the absolute value is greater than the prescribed value, after the lapse of prescribed time (step S7), the absolute value of the different between the present torque value and the stored initial torque value is compared with the prescribed value again (step S9). When the absolute value is greater than a prescribed value, it is detected as a servo abnormality (step S10).
