PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photothermographic material providing a stable image formed by heat and light on a light box. SOLUTION: The photothermograpic material includes a support including a binder and one or more front face layers having (a) a photosensitive silver halide, (b) a source of a non-photosensitive silver ion capable of being reduced and (c) a reducing agent for the silver ion, which are reactively related. The photothermographic material is such a compound of a fluorenone, fluorene, coumarin, a naphthalic acid imide, a pyrazoline or an anthracene compounds. One or more front face silver including layers of the photothermograpic material include one or more kinds of the first image stabilizing compounds.
