PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-accuracy flow rate measuring device having wider measurement range, covering wide variety of flow rate conditions, facilitating downsizing and cost reduction for the device as well as imposing no restraint on piping design. SOLUTION: This flow rate measuring device is characterized in that a measuring tube 1 is connected with an external pipe of dissimilar diameter via the sudden reduction of an area and that a straightening vane 7 straightening fluid flow is attached to the rear flow side of the sudden reduction of the area, namely, the upstream side of the vortex generator 2.
