<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric cell which is usable in either the reflection mode or proximity mode. SOLUTION: This cell is equipped with a photoreceptor circuit, having a photoreceptor surface composed of a 1st region Z1, which can operate in the reflex mode and a 2nd region Z2 for analog position detection which can operate in the proximity mode. The 1st area Z1 is the region of a photodiode, having a 1st output terminal A1 and the 2nd area Z2 is a region in PSD form, equipped with a 2nd output terminal A2 corresponding to a near-detection region and a 3rd output terminal A3 corresponding to a distant-detection region. A switch I1 connects the 1st output terminal A1 in the reflex mode or the 2nd output terminal A2 in the proximity mode to a processing circuit.</p> |
