PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a segment erector device capable of easily assembling heavy segments for different cross section, and to provide a shield machine using this segment erector device. SOLUTION: In this erector device for shield machine for assembling segments by turning a turning ring supporting the whole of the device, a pair of elevator frames are provided in right and left on the turning ring, and a beam-like frame is stretched between these pair of elevator frames so as to form a nearly arch shape over the whole of the frame. The whole of the arch-like frame can be slid in the radial direction of the turning ring, and a segment holding device is provided on the beam-like frame freely to be slid and bent in right and left. The shield machine is provided with plural erector devices arranged in parallel with each other.
