摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exactly recognize the front/back (overhand part) of a work without using normal vector information related to the three-dimensional model information of machining. SOLUTION: Contour data from the first layer of a completed article to the final layer are prepared. A machining device is set to the executing mode of a machining process on the approach path. A cutter path defining the first layer as a current layer is found from the contour data of the first layer. In order to prepare a cutter path defining a second layer as a current layer from the contour data of the second layer, OR operating processing is executed between the contour data of the second layer and the cutter path of the first layer. Thus, the final layer is reached. Dataαprovided by executing OR operating processing between the contour data of the final layer and the cutter path of a layer higher by one layer are defined as a cutter path of the final layer. This cutter path is a cumulative value of the results of OR operating processing from the first layer to the layer higher than the final layer for one layer (steps S11-S16). In a machining process executing mode on the return path, the difference ofαand the contour data of each of layers is found and this difference is defined as a machining area on each of layers (steps S17-S22).
