摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of white fumes caused by the increase of the injection for controlling idling speed when the combustion is unstable just after the cold start. SOLUTION: When the rotational frequency Ne exceeds the start judging rotational frequency Nstart (Step 2) and if the opening of an accelerator Acc is smaller than the judging opening of the accelerator Acc0 (Step 3), the quantity of correction of the injectionΔQ is calculated based on the deviationΔN between a target frequency of idling rotation Nidle and the actual rotational frequency Ne and the idling speed is controlled by increasing/decreasing the injection quantity (Steps 8 and 9). Within a prescribed period of time TMW (Step 10), the maximum value of the correction quantity Dqmax is calculated according to the engine water temperature, and restrictions are placed so that larger correction should not be made (Steps 12-14). Therefore, the increase of unburned HC due to the increase of excessive injection as well as the deterioration of white fumes can be prevented.
