PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell stack which reduces an occupation space as much as possible both in lamination direction and height direction, and which allows for an efficient transmission of electric power. SOLUTION: In a fuel cell stack, wherein a unit fuel cell 15 provided with an anode electrode 13 and a cathode electrode 14 on both sides of a polymer electrolyte membrane 12, and the cell 15 are laminated horizontally via separators 16, 17, and connection holes for charge or discharge of hydrogen, air and cooling water for each electrode 13, 14 are formed passing through the plane of each electrode 13, 14, a conductive flat plate 35 enclosed by an insulation material 34 is provided outside a conductive plate 22 which forms the edge of the cell 15 located at the outer side, and a conductive protrusion part 36 being circumferentially insulated is provided perpendicularly to the flat plate 35, and the part 36 forms a terminal for electric power transmission. |
