LUMINAIRE AND CEILING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost of a ceiling system equipped with a luminaire. SOLUTION: Luminaire body 22 of a luminaire 20 is provided with a part 30 to be supported in which is formed a long hole part 30a. A clip 12 for mounting a conventionally used M-bar 14 is locked to the hole part 30a, and the luminaire 20 can be mounted on a C channel 10. Overhang parts 22c are installed on both sides of the luminaire body 22. A ceiling plate 21 is placed on each of the overhang parts 22c. No need for a screw clamp and a T-bar permits the reduction of the cost.
