PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method that utilizes a cable television transmission network for offering various voice information to a plurality of different regions at a low cost, and to provide a system that is used for the method. SOLUTION: The voice signal of an offering source is transmitted to an SP amplifier 10 by a head end 2 diverted from existing CATV facilities, an optical fiber 3, an optical node 4, a coaxial cable 5 for electrical mains, an electrical main amplifier 6, and a newly provided lead-in coaxial cable 7. Using the SP amplifier 10, the voice signal of a specific source is extracted for modulating to the voice signal of a prescribed frequency band, and radio waves containing a signal modulated by a leak cable 9a formed in a desired region are made to leak. The radio waves are received by a receiver 18, such as FM radio, thus acquiring local information. |
