SOLUTION: In this settlement method to be used between a shopping site on the Internet selling merchandise or providing service in exchange for virtual money guaranteed by cash and a portal site on the Internet mediating the shopping site and customers, the shopping site encashes the virtual money obtained by selling the merchandise or providing the service into cash after accumulating it until a certain condition such as a predetermined period or a predetermined amount is achieved.
