<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal and an electronic business card exchanging method which exchange business card data with a portable terminal at a meeting and records the business card data while relating them to data regarding the meeting. SOLUTION: Meeting information input parts (108, 106, and 116) of the portable terminal 10 input meeting data, specially, a meeting date and time, a meeting place, and the contents of the meeting. A communication part 114 communicates with the portable terminal 10 of another person and receives personal data on the user, specially, business card data. Personal data storage parts (102, 104) store the personal data while relating them to meeting data. When the meeting data stored in the personal data storage parts are retrieved, the meeting data related to the personal data are extracted and a display part 110 displays the personal data and meeting data. When information regarding an attendant is included in the meeting data, personal data on the attendant are referred to and displayed.</p> |
