PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pointer achieving best visibility and improved yield ratio. SOLUTION: This pointer body 2 is furnished with a colored hot stamp layer 10 formed on its face, a metallic-colored hot stamp layer 3 is designed over the colored hot stamp layer 10, and a metallic-colored or white hot stamp layer 4 is formed throughout backside of the pointer body 2. Not only the colored hot stamp layer 10 exposed on the pointer surface area directly visible from a space among layout of the colored hot stamp layers 3 improves visibility in the daytime, but also at night, strong light led by the pointer body 2 is reflected at the hot stamp layer 4 on the back of the pointer body 2 and permeates through the colored hot stamp layer 10 to light up the tint of the colored hot stamp layer 10, resulting in better visibility.
