摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excavated soil improving system for improving the quality of the excavated soil in the mud pressure shield construction so as to be recycled as the soil for construction without disposing as the industrial waste, and capable of continuously improving the excavated soil in an excavating process of a shield machine. SOLUTION: This excavated soil improving system for improving the excavated soil on the way of an excavated soil carrying passage formed from the excavation at a cutting face 12 to a storage part in a mud pressure shield construction is provided with an electromagnetic flow meter 24, aγ-ray density meter 26 and a neutron moisture meter 28 in a mud discharge pipe 22 of a carrying passage, and provided with an improving device for adding the improving material to the excavated soil. A control unit 32 determines the soil quality of the excavated soil on the basis of the volume of the excavated soil carried per a unit time measured by the electromagnetic flow meter 24 and the moisture quantity measured by theγ-ray density meter 26 and the neutron moisture meter 28, and controls addition of the improving material for improving the excavated soil to the predetermined hardness on the basis of the data previously obtained in response to the moisture quantity and the soil quality.
