PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric transformer for the power device of an information processor, which has a structure that discharge is prevented from being generated from a high voltage part in a part being maintained at a low voltage in the transformer. SOLUTION: A piezoelectric transformer has the form of an isosceles triangle of a structure that the end surface of the base part of a secondary side piezoelectric element part 3 is bonded to the end surface of a primary side piezoelectric element part 2 and this element part 3 is reduced in its thickness toward its point. When an alternating voltage is applied to the surfaces, which oppose to each other, of a primary side electrode on the element part 2, a high voltage is generated in a secondary side electrode 9 provided on the end surface of the point of the element part 3 and the electrode 9 is fully separated from a substrate 8 and other circuit part.
