SURFACE LIGHT SOURCE-TYPE LIGHTING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface light source-type lighting system which eliminates unevenness of luminance, has a high luminance, and reduces power consumption. SOLUTION: A surface light source-type lighting system 1 has point light sources 12 and a rectangular light guide plate 11 for allowing light 4 received from the light sources 12 to be emitted from specified surfaces and guided to a liquid crystal display part 3 serving as an illuminated body. The plate 11 is provided with one surface facing the display part 3 and the other surface positioned on the opposite side thereof and having a recess for allowing the light 4 to be emitted from one surface. The light sources 12 are disposed in a pair of opposite angles of the plate 11, and a light introducing parts 13 for introducing the light 4 of the light sources 12 to the plate 11 are installed integrally with the plate 11. The introducing part 13 has a light receiving face 131 for introducing the light 4 in such a manner as to face the light source 12 and a reflecting surface 132 for allowing the introduced light 4 to be totally reflected toward the inside of the plate 11.
