PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a warehouse management system that can unitarily the manage periods and standards for an expiration date as well a transportation times even if they varry for every commodity, and can assign each commodity to the end customer with reliability by taking the delivery time into consideration. SOLUTION: The warehouse management system, which manages the reception, storage, and shipment of the commodities, has a commodity management means that stores data on a predetermined expiration date for every commodity shipment, which are used for calculating the expiration date for the arrived commodities, an incoming product management means that stores the data with control dates for arrived commodities their quantities, their appreciation expired dates, and their manufactured dates or their arrived dates, a commodity shipment management means that stores the data for commodities to be shipped, their quantities, and their shipping dates, an inventory management means that stores the data including information of the shipment expiration dates for the arrived commodities a shipment expiration date calculation means that calculates the dates of expiration on the basis of the shipment expiration dates and the above mentioned management dates, and a shipping assignment means that assigns the commodities that do not exceed the time limit of the shipment expiration, the data of which are extracted from the inventory management means, to the commodity shipment dates in responding to requests for shipment orders. |
