PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document editing system and its method which can easily conduct a work of alteration or the like of an edited document so that editing works can be efficiently conducted. SOLUTION: Master document data are read from a content composition database D2. An ID number that links to a required text data is read from a text database and added to the master document data, or an ID number that constitutes the master document data is replaced with an ID number that links to the required text data read from the document database, thus editing the text data. The edited text data is converted into SGML electronic document data by DTD read from a DTD database D4. |
