PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To vary conversion accuracy and conversion time for each channel of the analog input signals of the plural channels of an ADC and to improve the throughput of conversion. SOLUTION: This ADC for performing the operation of AD converting the analog input signals of the channel selected by a channel selector 11 by a successive approximation AD conversion circuit 10 and successively establishing them from an MSB to an LSB to the plural channels in time division manner, is provided with an AD conversion control circuit 30 for outputting a first conversion end flag, when the AD conversion of all bits is completed; outputting a first under-conversion instruction flag until the AD conversion by first bit accuracy is completed; selectively outputting first interruption request signals when the AD conversion by the first bit accuracy is completed; and outputting a second conversion end flag, for indicating that the AD conversion by at least one kind of second bit accuracy has been completed in the middle of the AD conversion and a register 21 for holding AD converted results. |
