PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collapsible portable radio device in which the owner can be recognized easily by providing a second liquid crystal display screen on the back of the collapsible portable radio device such that the name of the owner can be displayed under waiting state. SOLUTION: The collapsible portable radio device is provided with a first display section on the inner surface side of the housing 16 and a second display section 29 on the outer surface side of the housing 16 and the name of the owner is displayed at the second display section 29 under waiting state. In order to display the name of the owner at the second display section 29, name of the owner is inputted by operating a key operating section under waiting state of the collapsible portable radio device. When the name of the owner is registered by means of a function key assigned to registration at the key operating section, name of the owner can be displayed subsequently at the second display section 29 under waiting state.
