PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrodeless discharge lamp lighting device for accurately obtaining prescribed dimming output, without being influenced by high-frequency noise in dimming an electrodeless discharge lamp by performing time sharing output control in a high-frequency power circuit. SOLUTION: The high-frequency power circuit 4 for outputting high-frequency electric power and a high-frequency electric power supply coil 7 are successively connected to a post stage of a DC power circuit 2 for supplying DC electric power, and while the electrodeless discharge lamp 3 lighted by the high-frequency electric power is arranged in the vicinity of the high-frequency electric power supply coil 7, a signal-converting circuit 23 is provided for outputting a signal to the high-frequency power circuit 4, by converting a dimming control signal inputted via a control signal line 16 into a time-sharing output control signal having a duty ratio corresponding to the signal, and the time-sharing output control of the high-frequency electric power of the high-frequency power circuit 4 is performed by signal output of this signal-converting circuit 23. |
