PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a down-sized battery and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: This battery is characterized that it has an electrode body 1 and an electrode terminal 5 joined to an end part of protruding end parts 23, 33 via a bridging part 54. Because the electrode terminal is joined to the end part of the electrode body in this battery, a length of the electrode body can be shortened, and the battery can be down-sized.
