PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform accurate focus detection by calculating the positional change of an optical member with respect to the home position thereof due to the increase of the number of actuating times of an optical member and appropriately correcting deviation between a focusing position and the focusing position on an image-formation surface even when the optical path length of a focus detection optical system is changed by the positional change. SOLUTION: This camera has a light receiving means consisting of plural photoelectric conversion elements, and the optical member 107 moved to the home position in a photographing optical path from the outside of the photographing optical path at the time of detecting focus, and guiding luminous flux passing through a photographing lens to the light receiving means. It is provided with image forming parts 8a and 8b forming a specified image on the light receiving means by making the luminous flux incident on an effective range used to guide the luminous flux to the light receiving means on the optical member 107, and an arithmetic operation means for calculating the positional change of the optical member with respect to the home position based on light quantity distribution by the specified image on the light receiving means. |
