PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power amplifier and a radio communication device, which can hold a constant bias point and keep stable high-frequency characteristic, in spite of temperature fluctuations. SOLUTION: There are provided a diode 105 for distortion compensation, with a cathode being connected to the base of a bipolar transistor 101 for signal amplification; a first resistor 3 where one end thereof is connected to an anode of the diode 105 for distortion compensation and the other end is connected to a base bias supply terminal 104; and a diode 2 for temperature compensation with an anode being connected to the connecting point of the first resistor 3 and the anode of the first diode 105 and a cathode being connected to the ground.
