LAMINATED INDUCTOR AND METHOD OF ADJUSTING INDUCTANCE VALUE THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which can adjust the inductance value of a product which can be manufactured with satisfaction of requests and even with a small tolerance. SOLUTION: A conductor pattern and electrical insulator layers are laminated in a suitable order to form a rectangular chip main body 10 having a coil 11 of the spirally connected conductor pattern built therein. Lead electrodes 13 at both ends of the coil and external electrodes 12 conducted therewith are then formed at an external peripheral surface of the chip main body. The external electrodes are formed continuous to chip end faces 10a and four surfaces 10b to 10e adjacent thereto. Widths (a) and (b) of the external electrodes are changed to change areas of the external electrodes, whereas a floating capacity with the coil is changed to adjust its inductance value.
