PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device, which is made highly fine in liquid crystal panels and is easily and compactly packaged by arranging the electrodes of the liquid crystal panels to a zigzag form, in order to eliminate the threshold that exists heretofore in the narrowness of the pitch of the junctions of the liquid crystal display device constituted by connecting the liquid crystal panels and a circuit board. SOLUTION: About twice the number of pixels can be assured by arranging the electrodes of the liquid crystal panels to the zigzag form. Furthermore, if a liquid crystal drive IC generating the drive timing signals corresponding to the zigzag-form wiring of the liquid crystal display panels is used, the laying about of the wiring on the circuit board is simplified and the area thereof can be decreased.
