PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To commonly use an external connector of a plurality of functioning circuits in a for connecting an electronic apparatus having a plurality of functioning circuits to a terminal via the external connector and transmitting a signal from the terminal to the functioning circuits of the electronic apparatus. SOLUTION: The communication system comprises the plurality of functioning circuits K1 to Kn connected in series to communicate signals according to different communication protocols in the electronic apparatus 1, and a common external connector 11 provided to the functioning circuit K1 of an initial stage in the plurality of the functioning circuits K1 to Kn-1 having communication control means T1 to Tn-1. In this case, when the communication protocol of the signal from the terminal 2 coincides with those of the functioning circuits K1 to Kn-1, the signal is input to the functioning circuits K1 to Kn-1, while when the protocol of the signal does not coincide with those of the circuits K1 to Kn-1, the signal is output to functioning circuits K2 to Kn of next stage.
