PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance performance by enhancing reliability of an hypothesis. SOLUTION: In this target tracking device, an assumption updating part 101 for preparing a new assumption based on a track-correlated matrix and an existing hypothesis uses information obtained in every observation vector from a target observation device, for calculation of reliability of the hypothesis, in the target tracking device of postponement determination type for conducting tracking processing while maintaining plural hypothesis taking the possibility that the observation vector is correlated to the existing track, the possibility that it is a new track, and the possibility that it is an erroneous signal into account, as to correlation between the observation vector and the track.
