PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an objective lens, an optical pickup device and an optical disk device which can be easily balanced to improve the stability, which can be made small in size and lightweight and which is excellent in the sensitivity during operation and suitable for the use in a car or for the use with a large number of apertures. SOLUTION: The objective lens 31 has an optical face 32 in a convex curved plane on the light source side and has a side face 34 formed nearer to the optical disk 2 than to the optical face 32, with the gravity center positioned on the optical face 32 side rather than on the boundary plane 36 between the optical face 32 and the side face 34. In the objective lens driving device 11 equipped with the above objective lens 31, the overall operational sensitivity of the driving is enhanced and a rolling of the objective lens 31 is suppressed to maintain stable operation of the device 11. |
