PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel storage system storing a fuel in a handheld device. SOLUTION: The handheld device is equipped with a housing 11 made by a parts group which partitions a receptacle, and two or more electronic circuits 23 and fuel cell stacks are accommodated in the core of the housing. The above fuel cell stacks convert chemical energy preserved as the fuel into electrical energy, and the fuel is stored into the container suitable for occupying the free space 22 between the electronic circuits 23 and the housing 11.
