PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent failure and breakage of a load cell main body under an excessive load, in such load cell unit condition as easily handled as a single body. SOLUTION: A space, or a prescribed interval, is formed between a projection 6 protruding from a fixed part at a load receiving part and a lower stopper support member 8 fixed to a support frame 7 fixing a fixed part of a load cell main body 2 which comprises a fixed part which is fixed to a reference surface, a load receiving part to which a load is applied, and a distorting part which deforms when the load receiving part is applied with a load. Thus, the failure and breakage of the load cell main body 2 under an excessive load are prevented, in such load cell unit condition as easily handled as a single body.
